WorkingDog MaxRelax 450g
1For a balanced dog
To balance an anxious dog
Max Relax is suitable for dogs that show anxiety and imbalance in their mood. A supplement with high concentrations of tryptophan, thiamin and magnesium.
Given preventively before an expected reaction or as a daily supplement in connection with therapeutic exercise. Can be given to dogs that become stressed by new situations, change of environment, loud noises such as gunshots or fireworks.
MaxRelax is given with the aim of improving the dog's ability to relax and handle stressful situations. MaxRelax contains Tryptophan, from which the dog's body-specific substances serotonin and melatonin are formed. Dogs with low levels of serotonin may exhibit anxious, stressed, and impulsive behavior. A supplement of tryptophan in the daily diet can raise the level of serotonin in the dog and thus balance its temperament. Melatonin helps the dog reduce anxiety and has a calming effect.
MaxRelax also contains Thiamin (B1) and magnesium, which also contribute to the formation of seratonin and melatonin.
Tryptophan, thiamin and magnesium
Tryptophan is an essential amino acid which, with the help of magnesium and thiamine, forms the body's own substances serotonin and melatonin.
Serotonin is a messenger of the body's signals, a so-called neurotransmitter. It affects, among other things, thoughts, feelings and how things are experienced. Problems with a neurotransmitter can lead to a deteriorating mood.
Dogs that exhibit anxiety, impulsivity and unwanted mood-related behaviors have been shown to have lower serotonin levels than normal.
Max Relax contains, among other things, a high level of tryptophan. Studies have shown that a diet containing a higher amount of tryptophan has been able to raise the level of serotonin in the blood of anxious dogs.
Like serotonin, melatonin affects the dog's mood, but its sleep and ability to relax are also affected.
Which dogs can eat Max Relax?
Max Relax can be used for all adult dogs. Max Relax can be given both as a daily supplement and as a temporary supplement during special periods such as New Year's or travel. Can also be given to dogs with upset stomachs.
