Harmony is a yeast supplement that contains a live yeast culture of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Harmony helps to stabilize the microflora of the large intestine and increase the digestibility of the feed. Harmony helps to create a stable microflora, increased nutrient absorption and a healthier horse. Imbalance in the large intestine can manifest itself in several different ways, e.g. difficult birth, loose stools, drooling and poor hoof quality.
Several feeds contain small amounts of mycotoxins which, through their effect on the digestive tract, can negatively affect the horse through, for example, impaired nutrient absorption and loose stools. Harmony contains yeast cell walls that can bind mycotoxins, which can have a positive effect on the digestive tract.
Harmony is a pre- and probiotic supplement for the horse's stomach and intestines. Harmony works to create a good intestinal flora, increase nutrient absorption and stabilize stool.
A healthy intestinal flora ensures a healthy horse
How the horse feels in its stomach and intestines is reflected in both its exterior and interior. Horses that are loose in their stomachs can have problems with the intestinal flora and feed breakdown, which leads to impaired nutrient absorption. Impaired nutrient absorption can be noticed through recurring problems with drooling, bad hooves, a dull coat, as well as problems achieving good shape and reduced performance.
Harmony works to support the good bacteria in the gut and to stabilize a well-functioning intestinal flora. This can improve the horse's ability to digest feed and return stool to normal.

Prebiotics are fibers and natural sugars that are necessary for the good bacterial flora of the intestine.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that, when given in sufficient amounts, have a beneficial health effect.
Synbiotics?
Harmony is a synbiotic supplement, which means it contains both pre- and probiotics. The purpose of synbiotics is to stimulate and increase the good bacteria population and thus also suppress and reduce the unwanted bacteria.
Which horses can eat Harmony?
Harmony is suitable for horses that have temporary or recurring problems with intestinal flora imbalance. It can be given both as a daily supplement and as a treatment for a limited period.
